FRIDAY 4TH OF AUGUST

  • Michael Bolton and Band – Live in Concert
    Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC)

    Triq il-Mediterran, Valletta
    Multiple Grammy Award-winning Singer, Songwriter and Social Activist – Michael Bolton will be visiting Malta for 2 concerts together with his band on Friday 4th and Sunday 6th of August 2017.   • The Farsons Beer Festival 2017  till Sunday the 6th of August
    A top line-up of beers, music and live entertainment! The Farsons Beer Festival is one of Malta’s hottest summer celebrations. Running over 10 days, from Friday 28th July to Sunday 6th August, this summer outdoor festival brings together the best local music, beer and entertainment at Ta’ Qali National Park.
  • Go Sport 10K Night Run
    Zebbug at 9 PM to 11 PM
    Encouraged by the successful outcomes of the first six editions of the 10k Night Run, Żurrieq Wolves AC have confirmed that this year’s event will be held on Friday 4th August.
    The 10k Night Run is the only night race in the local road running calendar. It is run in a completely traffic-free environment as participants run along Mdina Road in Żebbug. The race starts at 9pm.
    We will be adding a greater fun factor to this year’s edition by introducing a glow and colourful theme to the race. Be ready for some great surprises!
    By applying, you will also be helping the Community Chest Fund, since we will be donating €2 from each application for a noble cause.

  • Zucchero: Black Cat Tour 2017 – LIVE IN MALTA

    The Legend is Back! Sugar Fornaciari aka Zucchero is returning to Malta on August 5th at MFCC in Ta’Qali brought to you by MUSIC HALL Events! Making a welcome return to Malta (he was last here in 2012), he will be bringing his acclaimed Black Cat World Tour that has seen him perform across Europe this year – including two sold out shows at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall in October 2016 and a record breaking 11 shows in Verona, Italy. His Maltese concert will see the Italian singer/songwriter tour across Australia as he performs his greatest hits alongside new material from the new album Black Cat.   • Selmun Summer Feast 2017
    Organised by Selmun Resident’s Association. Saturday 5th August 6pm onwards.

    Artemocion, Maltese Folk Music, Mellieha Scouts, Maltese band, Traditional Stalls, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and special guest Freddie Portelli. Free shuttle service from the family park. Why not pop along and join in the fun? The Feast in Selmun goes back to the 19th Century when it was used to honour Our Lady of Ransom. The Selmun Residents’ Association is striving to raise awareness regarding this tradition and the ecological sensitivity of Selmun and its surroundings.
