- World Space Week – Malta at Esplora Interactive Science Centre‎, Kalkara.

Come celebrate World Space Week 2017 with us at Esplora!
Observe the sun through a telescope, experience a total solar eclipse, meet Maltese space scientists, try out one of our space themed workshops and explore the secrets of our cosmic chemistry and our explosive origins in our brand new ‘We are Stars’ planetarium show.
Tuesday 3rd October- Friday 6th October
Price: €6 adults, €3 kids under 12, kids under 4 visit for free
This entrance fee includes:
• Access to the exhibition spaces + activities held on the exhibition floor by Astronomical Society and the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy
Science Shows, Workshops and Planetarium Show + Planetarium Exhibition will be at an EXTRA cost.
Saturday 7th October & Sunday 8th October
Price: €10 adults, €5 kids under 12, kids under 4 visit for free
The weekend entrance fee includes
• Access to the exhibition spaces + activities held on the exhibition floor by Astronomical Society and the Institute of Space Sciences and Astronomy
• Earth & Universe workshops, crafts workshop (first come, first served basis)
• Planetarium show + Planetarium Exhibition (first come, first served basis)

Min Hemm? / Notte Bianca
In Republic Square you’ll come across three vintage telephone boxes. Each of the cubicles has an old telephone set, which will be ringing along the whole night. Enter the booths and pick up the phone to discover mystery callers for some small talk or, if you’re in the mood, for deep conversation.
Triq il-Maġija / Notte Bianca
Experience street magic as you wander around Valletta thanks to local magician Ivan Mallia who will be treating audiences of passers-by to an intimate magical act just for them. Prepare to have your mind blown.
Strait Tango / Notte Bianca
Hosted by Malta Argentine Tango Association and Notte Bianca Valletta
Strait Street – Valletta
Tango the night away with George ‘il-Pusé’ Curmi and band. Revel in a night of Argentine music with Strait Tango and dance to the rhythms of composers such as Piazzolla through il-Pusé’s improvisations. Plus, the Argentine Tango Association will be dancing the whole night through!
Pjazza Ħġieġ / Notte Bianca
Mdina Glass and its famed glassblowers will be taking over Castille Square with unique glass creations. Be sure to admire the Underwater World Fountain Display, where the fountain in the square will be given an aquatic makeover. Light glass balls will dangle in front of Castille Palace and the surrounding trees will also be decorated with colourful hanging glass which will further illuminate Valletta’s magnificent architecture.

Heritage Malta’s Valletta Museums will be open till late for Notte Bianca!
